It's just the begining

This is our first blog. We are really just starting out and getting the new website up and running.

The idea behind The Lawrence Trust comes from Michael Piper wanting to leave something behind after his passing.

Michael was truly inspiring, as a young boy and a tragic accident, Michael lost one of his legs and an eye but even with this disability went on to achieve wonderful things throughout his life.

Michael was driven by education and had strong links with Lewes Grammer School and Plumpton College, it was his wish for a charity to be setup to continue his passion for this subject, however giving the trustees the power to look at all charitable purposes in East Sussex.
